World Premiere!

Sometimes, ideas are too big to talk about in 140 characters. Sometimes, ideas are too grandiose to capture on Facebook. Sometimes, one needs space to move in to grasp the depth of an issue. People in the world today are often split into camps, dogmatically following what they think is right. That is fine, if it is right. Frequently, however, only part of belief is true or good. Many times there are right points in both sides of opposing camps, but middle ground is elusive because of the polarization of the times.

There are many buzzwords floating around in regard to politics: disinformation, misinformation, information, slams, destroys, rips, and many more. None of these have much meaning anymore. In reality, there is only information: good and bad. The reaction to that information is also either good or bad.

My goal is to present ideas and information that is clear and concise so that conclusions can be the same. There are some basic truths I hold to that help me wade through muddy waters toward clear perspective: 1) God made man in His image. In Genesis, God created man in the earth and gave them the first command: rule it. 2) “There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus,” Galatians 3:28. This is not to designate value between Christians and non-Christians. Both truths in conjunction with each other put an unequivocal value on a person because they are a person. 3) Theories are good in the clouds, but if they do not work on the ground, leave them as theories. Many theories sound good, but when put into practice are actually atrocious. 4) Be grounded in reality. Many hot button issues can be solved simply by asking, “Is that really how it works?” This is by no means an exhaustive list, merely a tool to help you the reader understand the filter from which I work.

I do not have special knowledge. I do not have insider secret sources. I get most information from reading and listening to people. I do have one thing though. I mean to use it to to persuade, to educate and hopefully facilitate change in my community, state and country. I have the stuff between my ears.
